High Load

Whenever you reach the limit of any particular resource, either it is RAM, CPU Usage, or a high I/O Usage, the load average of your server will get higher, and processes will start to wait.

You may notice delays, either you are using SSH or Virtual KVM/IP (VNC). Even the most simple commands may take longer to start, and web pages will take longer to open (or not open at all).

If you have a Fully Managed Service, we are - most likely - already investigating what is happening. Nevertheless, feel free to contact us.

If you have an unmanaged service, you can still use the best-effort support included in your service. We may be able to point you in the right direction by providing instructions to help you troubleshoot the issue.

Unmanaged servers are generally for system administrators, teams, or companies that have their own IT Department and are capable of administrating Linux systems on their own. An unmanaged server is also the right choice if you are looking to learn, want to experiment around, or your project is just a hobby.
